A short introduction to using a calming sound-based tools to help you feel steady and grounded.
These are simple tools I use in therapy to help people feel more grounded, steady, or calm. You're welcome to try them here.
Use what helps, skip what doesn't.
This sound is not a substitute for therapy or medical care.
Calm-Helps you settle and land when things feel overwhelming.
Calm sounds are gentle and spacious. They support slowing down, breathing more easily, and helping your body recognize safety.
Steady Body- Helps your body stay steady when your mind feels busy or scattered.
Steady body sounds use soft rhythm and low tones to support presence and balance without pushing or overstimulating.
Contained- Helps hold heavier emotions without pushing them away.
Contained sounds are supportive and steady. They're helpful when emotions feel intense, heavy, or hard to put into words.
Steady to calm- Begins with gentle rhythm and gradually settles into natural sound.
This option can be helpful if calm feels too sudden and your body needs a slower transition.
How to Use These Sounds
You don't need a long session or a quite space.
Even 5 minutes can help.
You can use these sounds anywhere-in your car, at your desk, before bed, or during a break.
Let the sound be there in the background.
If it helps, keep listening.
If it doesn't you can stop.
